🛒 In-Store Herb Matcher
Take photos of herb products at any store and we'll match what's available to your personal strategy. The matcher considers herbs from your AI strategy first, then your herbalist strategy, and draws from the broader Easy Herbalist herb collection only if needed — giving you the best possible match from what is in front of you. Works best with single-herb products with clearly visible front labels. Homeopathic products are welcome too — some herbs in the Easy Herbalist system are available in homeopathic form and work beautifully for the same purposes.
Tips for best results: Photograph the front labels clearly so herb names are readable — if a name is positioned vertically or at an angle, laying the product flat or repositioning it before photographing can make a big difference. You can submit up to 25 photos to cover different areas of the store. The most important tip: Focus on one or two shelf rows at a time from close enough that you can clearly read most product names yourself when looking at the photo on your phone. If you can read them, the AI can too. If they look tiny and blurry to you, they'll be hard for AI as well. Trying to capture an entire shelf or aisle from far away won't work well — the text becomes too small. Close-up shots of one to two rows at a time with clearly readable labels will give you much better accuracy than fewer wide shots. Rotate your phone sideways to fit more products per row. Herbs may be spread across standard supplement shelves, women's health sections, homeopathic areas, and tincture displays — photographing each relevant section gives the matcher the best chance to find your strategy herbs. Suggestions are based on herb names only and do not evaluate brand quality or concentration. The matcher reads what it can see, so double-checking that any herb it identifies matches the actual product label is always a good idea. If you have more than one downloaded strategy, check the date on the file to make sure you are using your most recent one.
Important: These suggestions are for informational purposes only and are not medical advice. They are based on matching traditionally recognized herb uses to your self-reported assessment. Dose information reflects what the herbalist developer of this tool might personally consider as a starting point. Individual needs vary and some may do better with less or more. Always consult your qualified healthcare practitioner before starting any herb, particularly if you take medications or have health conditions. Some products may contain additional ingredients not visible in the photo — always check the full label before purchasing.
Step 1: Enter Your Strategy
Which option is best for you?
Best option: Upload your downloaded strategy file. When you downloaded your report as an HTML file, that file contains your complete strategy. Upload it here for the most complete and accurate herb matching.
Good option: Open your downloaded strategy file or any document you saved your strategy to, select all the text from top to bottom, copy it, then paste it here. This captures everything including your AI analysis and herb reasoning for the most complete matching.
Quick option: Use your report code. Note that this uses significantly less information — only your herbalist strategy herbs and answer selections — so herb matching will be less precise than the other options.
Step 2: How Many Herbs Would You Like to Find?
Starting with 2 or 3 is a great place to begin. You can always return for more.
Step 3: Photograph the Herb Shelf
Take up to 25 photos of herb products from different areas of the store. Key tip: Focus on one or two shelf rows at a time — get close enough that you can personally read most product names in the photo. If you can read them, the AI can too. Wide shots of entire shelves from far away won't work well because the text becomes too small. Rotate your phone sideways to fit more products per row. Don't forget to check different store sections — standard herbs, women's health, homeopathic shelves, and tincture areas may all have relevant products.

Tongue Observations
Instructions
Look at your tongue in good lighting (preferably natural daylight). If you have recently consumed coffee or other strongly colored foods or drinks, it may affect the appearance temporarily.
Select up to 5 tongue characteristics that apply to you by clicking on them. Selected items will turn blue.
☝️ Recommended — snap a photo and AI identifies your tongue signs automatically
Your photos are analyzed securely and are not stored on our servers or linked to your identity.
My tongue looks pale compared to a normal pink tongue
My tongue looks red or darker red compared to a normal pink tongue
My tongue looks dry and may have cracks
My tongue has noticeable lines or cracks running horizontally (width-wise)
My tongue has deep lines or cracks with noticeable redness within them
My tongue center is particularly dry while the sides are particularly damp
My tongue looks damp or overly wet
My tongue has a white coating (thin or thick) on part or all of the tongue
My tongue has a yellow coating on part or all of the tongue
My tongue has a brown coating on part or all of the tongue
My tongue has a black coating on part or all of the tongue
My tongue looks like a map with separately coated areas and different textures or colors in different locations
My tongue has purple spots or purple coloration
My whole tongue is very dark reddish-brown in color (closer to brown than typical red)
My tongue has blue spots or blue coloration on top
My tongue has noticeable blue or bluish-gray veins on the underside
My tongue has a pale or pink center and red edges bordering it
My tongue has a red center and pale or pink edges bordering it
My tongue has a red tip that looks redder than other parts
My tongue seems to tremble or shake when I stick it out, even if only sticking it out for a moment
My tongue has wavy sides or tooth-marked edges
My tongue appears swollen or bloated, looking larger or puffier than a normal tongue
I notice a coating concentrated in the center of my tongue, while the edges and tip remain relatively clear. The coating sits as a distinct patch in the middle rather than spreading across the whole tongue, and often has a thick, slightly pasty or heavy quality.
I notice a distinct change in color or texture on one or both sides of my tongue in the middle third — not at the very front or very back, but roughly the middle portion of each side. This area may appear yellowish, more coated, or slightly different in texture compared to the rest of the tongue.
The rear corners of my tongue — the back edges where the tongue widens toward the throat — appear noticeably darker, duskier, or slightly different in color or texture compared to the rest of the tongue. This is specific to those two back corner areas rather than general tongue darkness.
My tongue has a coating that appears thicker or more concentrated toward the sides, with a slightly greasy, slippery, or sticky quality. This is different from wavy or scalloped edges — the sides themselves have a visible coating that may extend somewhat toward the center.
The front section of my tongue — just behind the tip, before the center — looks noticeably different from the rest. It may appear redder, drier, or slightly cracked, or alternatively it may look puffier, more coated, or damper than the surrounding area. Either way, this front band stands out as clearly distinct from the rest of the tongue.
There is a clear crack, groove, or indentation running lengthwise along the center of my tongue — not side to side but along the middle axis, visible as a distinct line or channel in the center or back portion. This is different from horizontal cracks that run across the tongue.
My tongue is mostly pale or light colored but has occasional patches or areas of deeper pink or redness showing through in places
My tongue is generally a normal pink color but has noticeable patches or areas of deeper redness appearing in places
Iris Observations
Instructions
Use the camera button below to take a photo of your eyes. The AI will analyze your iris for constitutional signs — large visible patterns that reflect your overall constitution. If you can't take a photo right now, you can select from the cards manually using a mirror in good lighting.
Select up to 3 iris characteristics that apply to you by clicking on them. Selected items will turn blue.
☝️ Recommended — Snap a photo and AI reads your iris signs automatically
Your photos are analyzed securely and are not stored on our servers or linked to your identity.
Tips for a Good Iris Photo:
- Safety: Flash is turned OFF automatically — never use flash near your eyes
- Lighting: Natural daylight or bright indoor light works best
- Distance: Hold your phone at arm's length so both eyes are visible
- Eyes open wide: Look straight at the camera with eyes open as wide as comfortable
- Hold steady: Keep still for a moment before tapping Capture
I can see circular rings or lines around my iris (nerve rings)
I can see a dark ring around the outer edge of my iris (skin ring)
I can see a cloudy white ring around the full or partial outer edge of my iris (cholesterol ring)
I can see small white dots arranged around a circle in a ring around the outer edge of my iris (lymphatic rosary)
I notice areas in my iris that appear darker than normal, cloudier than normal, more congested than normal, have a yellow or greenish coloration, show shades of lighter brown or blue under a darker brown color, or have noticeably thick fibers (lymphatic stagnation)
I notice orange, rust coloration, or yellow-orange coloration around the pupil or going up toward the top of the iris
The fibers around my iris appear wavy, loose, or appear to lack in tight structure (wavy fibers)

Energy & Mind
Sleep, focus, mood, mental clarity, stress patterns
I often have trouble falling asleep and sleeping deep enough to ever feel recharged, leading me to wake up still feeling tired and lacking energy during the day, especially at certain points in the afternoon or evening. I may also feel, within the same day, a mix of stress and tiredness.
I have pretty good or above average energy but my mind goes around in circles and feels like it never shuts off, even sometimes when I try to sleep, leading me to stay awake thinking and missing out on the sleep I need to recover from the stress of the day.
My mind is very energetic, which can be great for creativity and tasks, but puts great weight and pressure on my body, which seems to be lagging behind and slowly dwindling in power compared to the constantly growing goals and plans I want to accomplish without wasting any time. I may over-focus on analytical things and feel the need to micromanage my life or even others around me, which may affect me socially or professionally at times. I sometimes may feel like I'm burning the candle at both ends and letting the stress deteriorate me over time by my intense way of being.
I tend to have very low blood pressure and sometimes I feel like it might be slightly too low, in a way that seems to affect my energy and sense of empowerment. I may also crave salt in a way that seems excessive at times and very often have lower than average vitality, perhaps even sometimes feeling very slightly faint or dizzy, as well as experiencing a sense of inflammation and discomfort throughout my body, with a general inability to easily relax and feel calm and alert, which is how I truly want to feel but find difficulty in accessing that balanced inner state.
I often feel so tired or sunken that I can hardly keep myself upright. This often seems to affect my posture throughout the day, though I may be used to it and not always notice it unless I focus on it. I feel like I have no "spark". Even if I eat healthy food, I don't seem to create enough energy to make it through the day without needing a chair or something to lean on or at least feeling like I want to.
I can't seem to focus on anything and it's greatly affecting my productivity and life overall. Even if I have the energy, it's like it gets misdirected in various directions all at once and I have to try over and over to refocus, even in simple conversations.
I may sometimes have a high amount of energy but it often gets depleted by random bursts of anger that is very hard to direct or control and feels like it has a life of its own. I feel like I'm often up against a heavy wall of misery that limits me in my life but the intense emotions are too strong and feel too real in the moment to easily override them and I want to find peace.
I often feel shy, nervous, and emotionally frail as if the slightest insecurity could send me into a fight or flight response with a rapid heartbeat and potential sweating.
I am a perpetual worrier. This seems to negatively affect my vitality, overall health, and productivity as if my mind is using up my deepest, core energy in a constant fight or flight situation based largely on stressful thought patterns that feel chained to me, even if I know that way of thinking is not supportive or even logical.
No matter how hard I try, I have a very difficult time forgiving and have a strong tendency to hold grudges and past resentments for a much longer time than others seem to. This seems to weigh me down and hold me back in life, even if I don't want to admit it, and I would generally rather hold it against the person or situation that I feel caused me to initially feel this way than to try to overcome it and move forward. To be free of this inner weight of past resentments would be life changing.
My thought processes often feel dulled or lacking in stimulation as if I don't get enough energy directly to my mind. This makes any mind-oriented tasks, including memory related tasks, take so much more effort than it seems for others.
My body tends to feel too cold, even in temperatures that most feel comfortable in. My digestion may also feel cold or sluggish at times and my day to day energy and vitality is not ideal. I would like to feel warmer and more energized.
I tend to get nervous easily, which often leads me to feel hot and begin sweating, especially in public situations where I may feel embarrassed or awkward about something. My heart may begin to race and I can't easily rein my mind in and direct it from focusing on how uncomfortable it is, as if I can't adapt to the situation, making it perpetuate and get worse until I leave the situation and can distract myself from it.
Headaches (not migraines), other head related pains or issues, including anything to do with thinking, concentration, or clarity of mind, are major problems for me. Sometimes, I may also experience confusion or indecision that holds me back in life.
Very intense headaches with potential visual effects and dizziness are a major problem for me. I may also experience other head related issues regarding focus and clarity of mind. Sluggish digestion could be another issue that I sometimes experience. I also may experience a lack of will, action, confidence, and decisiveness in daily life.
My head often feels like it has a lot of pressure, as if it has too much circulation, and my thoughts sometimes feel like they're trapped in my mind spinning around and around as if they can't get out, leading me to overthink and obsess about things that others might quickly move on from. I may also feel like I have pressure around or near my eyes.
My thoughts seem to go at a rapid pace, leading me to often feel stuck inside my own emotions that feel too intense to control or calm down. This causes me to fixate on certain things that others would generally not think about or more quickly move on from. As a result, it's hard to just be in the moment, away from constant analytical thinking, which wears me out and makes it hard to do a lot of activities that others don't seem to struggle with.
I feel like I have a strong habit tied to the core of my being of people pleasing and wanting to always appear fine, especially around others that I value but don't know if they value me as much as if there is a rift in some social dynamics around me and I want to control the situation by acting relaxed even if I feel very stressed or nervous inside, leading me to sometimes feel trapped in situations that I don't want to be in or don't resonate with me, even though others might simply just explain how they feel, leave, or try to change the situation.
I have a lot of drive and inner will to overcome obstacles and take chances in life but I often feel like I lack a sense of calm, rooted, discernment, and clarity as if my body is a ship on the ocean that still moves forward anyway, but is slowly filling up with water and becoming stagnant, water-logged, and beginning to break down and slowly sink to the bottom of the ocean, yet I tend to continue on course regardless of the obvious apparent outcome.
I feel stressed and energetically depleted to the max. I may actually have prominent dark circles under my eyes or, if I don't, I feel like I would. Sleep just doesn't seem to rejuvenate me and each day seems to wither away at my core energy reserves, as if my body is a cell phone without a properly working charger that barely recharges me each night and sometimes feels like it doesn't at all.
I often experience anxiety and worry about my health, particularly regarding concerns about cellular changes, unusual growths, or abnormal tissue developments. These health worries frequently occupy my thoughts and make it difficult to feel at peace in my body, and I would like to feel more mentally and emotionally free from these persistent concerns so I can be more present and relaxed in my daily life.
I tend to feel very unmotivated, apathetic, and sometimes even lazy, which greatly affects my daily life. I may feel like I don't have the energy or motivation to clean or organize important areas of my life. It feels easier at this point in my life with this low level of vitality and motivation to just put things off and deal with it tomorrow or the next week.
My mindset tends to move toward dark emotional states that hover around me and keep me feeling down, low, and withdrawn. I may sometimes feel somewhat cold or lacking in the vitality that I see others display. I may have had stressful experiences in the past that I can't seem to get over or, for whatever reason, it's very difficult to try to look at things from a more positive point of view.
I often experience brain fog that comes and goes in waves, fatigue that gets dramatically worse 24-48 hours after physical activity, and these symptoms may have started or worsened after a potential encounter with ticks or after spending time in wooded areas. I also may experience trouble finding words or mental processing, numbness or tingling in hands and feet, exercise intolerance where activities that used to be easy now leave me exhausted for days, memory issues that fluctuate unpredictably, or a bone-deep fatigue that sleep doesn't relieve.
I often experience brain fog, anxiety, mood changes, or sleep issues that seem to worsen with age, stress, or life transitions. I also may experience difficulty concentrating, increased emotional sensitivity, night sweats or temperature regulation problems, feeling like my brain doesn't work the same way it used to, and if female, symptoms that cycle with my menstrual cycle, worsen around perimenopause/menopause, or include PMS-related mood changes and sleep disruption.
I often experience ongoing mental fatigue, brain fog, or cognitive symptoms that began after what seemed like a viral illness but never fully resolved. I also may experience periodic reactivation symptoms like cold sores or nerve-type pain when stressed, memory or concentration issues that persist, feeling like my mental stamina never returned to normal, or episodes of neurological symptoms that seem to cycle with stress or illness.
I often experience low mood, lack of motivation, or emotional flatness that feels different from stress-related sadness. I also may experience loss of interest in activities I used to enjoy, cravings for carbohydrates or sweets, sleep problems (either too much or too little), feeling emotionally numb rather than actively sad, difficulty feeling pleasure or satisfaction, or a sense that my brain chemistry feels off rather than just reacting to life circumstances.
I often experience sleep problems that include difficulty with my natural sleep-wake cycle, along with mood changes that seem connected to light exposure or seasonal patterns. I also may experience feeling more alert at night than during the day, mood swings that correlate with sleep disruption, difficulty adjusting to time zone changes, sensitivity to light that affects my mood or energy, or extreme mood fluctuations that cycle between very high and very low periods.
I often experience a combination of symptoms that affect multiple body systems, including past growth-related issues, temperature regulation problems, or energy patterns that don't fit typical fatigue. I also may experience unusually short stature, difficulty with stress response, symptoms that suggest multiple hormonal systems are affected, irregular sleep patterns, or issues with body composition that seem hormone-related.
I often experience brain fog, memory problems, or difficulty concentrating that seems to worsen over time, along with persistent fatigue, feeling mentally sluggish, and often feeling cold even in normal temperatures that most are comfortable in. I also may experience mood changes, difficulty with word recall, mental fatigue, and a sense that my cognitive function isn't what it used to be.
I often experience mood swings that cycle between periods of high energy and elevated mood, followed by periods of low mood and energy that can last days or weeks. I also may experience times when I feel unusually energetic, talkative, or need very little sleep, followed by periods of deep sadness, hopelessness, or wanting to sleep excessively, difficulty maintaining stable relationships due to mood changes, impulsive behavior, or feeling like my emotions are much more intense than other people's and cycle in ways that impact my daily life.
I often experience what seems to be neurological symptoms, which may include inflammation or pressure that seems to be related to the brain and nervous system, along with increased stress in response to contact with certain foods or chemicals that I can't completely avoid, which may turn on symptoms that otherwise don't bother me.
I often feel very tired during the day, which seemed to start sometime after having an infection. This tiredness seems to be lingering well past the actual infection period, which may have been recently or quite some time ago.
I often feel like somewhere deep in my brain or nervous system, perhaps feeling like it is somewhere in the back of my head, is tight, oversensitive, and very inflamed, potentially even to the point of feeling like it could potentially cause subtle, involuntary movements of my head or other areas of my body in times of stress. This may seem to heighten anxiety to a great extent and is difficult to navigate or tone down once aggravated. I would like to feel more relaxed and at ease.
I often feel very socially awkward or experience nervous tics or involuntary twitches like eyelid twitches. This can make it very hard to carry on an extended conversation with someone I don't know well, which may limit my social expression to a great extent or at least make it much more difficult and tiresome.
I feel like I'm lacking deep connection and support in my life currently and feel very alone even if I have others around me at times. I may even feel homesick for a time or place I can't currently experience but wish I could go back to.
Skin
Dryness, irritation, aging, sensitivity issues
I have dry skin in some areas. There may be noticeable redness or irritation to it. There could also be a sense of scaliness, overproduction of skin cells, or other appearances of skin roughness.
I have areas of my skin with redness, irritation, or scaliness that appears to be somewhat damp, as opposed to dry or neutral, as if fluid other than sweat appears to be seeping through.
My skin, in some areas, tends to get irritated, itchy, or red in response to eating sugar or other forms of carbohydrates such as starches.
My skin, in some areas, tends to get irritated, itchy, or red in response to chemicals or substances in the environment or food.
My skin appears or feels lax, loose, or otherwise lacking in tone or strength. There may or may not be wrinkles, but it feels like it could use increased firmness and overall health.
Ever since menopause or sometime around or after it, my skin seems to have become particularly dry. It may or may not also have noticeable wrinkles. I could use a return to my original, more youthful skin.
Circulation
Blood pressure, varicose veins, numbness, cholesterol
I have a tendency toward noticeable varicose veins that are thick and perhaps appear to be bulging in my legs or elsewhere.
I have a tendency toward noticeable varicose veins that are not necessarily thick or bulging but I can easily see them.
My legs tend to feel very tired or heavy when standing or walking to an extent that feels somewhat abnormal compared to a healthy person, as if the circulation may not be strong enough in that area to hold my body weight for reasonable periods of time.
I have a tendency toward high blood pressure and I may feel tense, overheated, or have a rapid heartbeat when stressed by life situations.
My head and mind often feels airy and empty as there is not enough energy to stimulate my thought processes. This may also sometimes affect my memory and ability to articulate or recall things in life, which can be frustrating and appears to be negatively affecting my productivity or social life.
I often feel some level of numbness in my extremities, as if they don't have enough power or circulation to them, which greatly affects my ability to enjoy life. I may tend toward blood sugar issues as well.
I have a tendency toward high cholesterol levels, stress, and may or may not have some level of difficulty digesting certain foods, especially fatty foods.
Urinary Function
Frequent urination, burning, retention, toxicity feelings
I currently have very strong smelling urine that may also look particularly cloudy or concentrated.
I recently have been experiencing a burning or somewhat painful sensation during urination.
I feel as if I have some amount of toxicity or stagnant fluids retained in my body even after urination, as if some type of matter or debris is not being properly eliminated, no matter what I try regarding dietary, hydration, or cleansing strategies. I may feel somewhat inflamed, tired, or sluggish at times during the day and I want to feel clean, clear, and relieved.
I feel like I have to urinate too many times during the night during sleep to the point that it may be affecting sleep quality and my life overall. I want to be able to reasonably sleep soundly during the night without my bladder waking me up as many times as it does so that I can finally rest and rejuvenate at a deeper level.
I feel like I often don't urinate enough each time and may feel as if I'm carrying extra water around as a result. When I do feel like I urinated more fully, I notice that I feel much better and perhaps lighter, more energetic, and overall feel a sense of relief.
Digestion & Elimination
Constipation, bloating, heartburn, bowel issues
I often experience random bouts of either constipation or loose bowel function and it may change back and forth without clear reasons. Cramping, tension, or spasm in the digestive tract may or may not be experienced.
I may sometimes experience some level of constipation but, even when I have a bowel movement, I often feel like I can't fully eliminate in a way that feels complete or it may feel like it gets "stuck" at times to some extent, such as toward the end of a bowel movement, and may not push out efficiently due to the texture or form of it, which may sometimes be slightly unformed, sticky, or mucusy.
I sometimes have a bowel movement less than once a day or it at least often requires some level of straining to have a complete bowel movement and it often feels or appears very hard, as if my digestive tract may be lacking the moisture required to allow it to easily glide out.
I often feel very bloated and sluggish, sometimes with gas, when I eat, which makes it difficult to live comfortably.
I often experience heartburn type sensations in a way that feels as if I am producing too much acid, which is very uncomfortable and limits what I can eat and do in life, even regarding activities that I want to do.
I have a history of dealing with ulcers or other painful issues within the digestive tract and the discomfort affects the quality of my life.
I often experience mucus in my stool and may experience too much mucus elsewhere in my body, which may lead to a sense of feeling congested, sluggish, and uncomfortable.
My digestion tends to feel overly damp, cold, and congested, as if it is a swamp rather than a clean stream. It may feel like it doesn't have enough power to fully break down foods into its smallest components, and this may affect my ability to extract nutrients and may lead to a sense of clogging or constipation at times.
My digestion feels like it is barely functioning as if it can barely break down most foods, even if I try to eat the best diet I can. I may notice what appears to be incompletely digested food in my stool and may sometimes experience constipation or a sense of digestive sluggishness in some way.
I often experience chronic constipation, sluggish digestion, or digestive symptoms that seem connected to overall slowed metabolism. I also may experience bloating that's persistent rather than food-related, bowel movements that are infrequent or difficult, poor appetite or early satiety, digestive processes that feel generally slow, or digestive symptoms that accompany other signs of metabolic slowing and a tendency to feel cold.
I tend to experience strong reactions to foods and I may encounter swings in energy or blood sugar that appear to be in response to what I eat. I may also feel sluggish or inflamed, perhaps due to weak digestion not being able to effectively break down or tolerate various foods without them causing some kind of reaction that I can feel.
Musculoskeletal
Joint pain, muscle tension, back pain, stiffness
I often experience joint pain that moves around my body unpredictably from day to day, symptoms that worsen significantly before weather changes, and these issues may have started or intensified after a potential encounter with ticks or after spending time in wooded areas, tall grass, or bushes. I also may experience muscle aches that shift locations, stiffness that's worse in the morning, barometric pressure sensitivity affecting my whole body, pain that can be in my knees one day and shoulders the next, or a general sense that my body is more reactive to environmental changes.
I often experience muscle weakness, joint stiffness, or slow recovery from physical activity that doesn't seem related to exercise or injury. I also may experience muscles that feel weak or heavy, joints that feel stiff especially in the morning, slow healing from minor injuries, muscle cramps or aches without clear cause, or physical symptoms that accompany other signs of slowed metabolism like weight gain, fatigue, or a tendency to feel cold.
I often wake up feeling like my muscles are locked up and tight, especially in my shoulders and neck. Throughout the day, I feel like I'm carrying tension in my body that makes simple movements feel stiff and restricted. Even when I try to relax, my muscles seem to hold onto stress and never fully let go.
My joints feel stiff and creaky, especially when I first get up in the morning or after sitting for a while. It takes time and movement before I feel like my body is truly warmed up and moving smoothly. Sometimes I feel older than my age because of how long it takes my body to feel fluid and comfortable with movement.
I experience sharp pains that can come out of nowhere and take my breath away. These pains might be in my back, down my leg, or even in my neck and shoulder area. When they hit, they're intense enough to stop me in my tracks and make me worry about making any sudden movements that might trigger them again.
My lower back is a constant source of discomfort that affects almost everything I do. Whether I'm sitting, standing, bending over, or even lying down, I'm always aware of this nagging pain that ranges from a dull ache to sharp discomfort. It makes me hesitant to lift things, play with my kids, or engage in activities I used to enjoy without thinking twice.
The tension in my neck and shoulders feels like I'm carrying the weight of the world. I often catch myself unconsciously raising my shoulders or clenching my jaw, and by the end of the day, my neck feels so tight it affects my mood and energy. This tension sometimes triggers headaches and makes it hard to truly relax, even when I'm trying to unwind.
I have this persistent knot or tightness right between my shoulder blades. It's especially noticeable when I'm working at a computer or when I'm stressed, and no amount of stretching or rolling seems to fully release it. Sometimes, it seems to radiates up into my neck or down into my mid-back.
My hips feel tight and sometimes achy, especially after sitting for long periods or when I first get up from bed. I notice it particularly when going up stairs, getting in and out of cars, or trying to cross my legs comfortably. Sometimes the discomfort extends into my lower back or down into my thighs, making me feel unsteady or unbalanced.
My whole body feels achy and inflamed, like I have the flu but without being sick. Some days it's worse than others, but there's always this underlying feeling that my muscles and joints are irritated or swollen. Weather changes, stress, and physical activity all seem to make it worse, leaving me feeling much older and more fragile than I should.
Reproductive Health
Hormonal cycles, fertility, menopause, libido
I often experience irregular menstrual cycles or reproductive symptoms that suggest hormonal imbalance and may have had some level of difficulty with concieving in the past. I also may experience very long or very short cycles, absent periods extended periods, excessive pain, temperature regulation issues during cycles, mood or energy that dramatically fluctuates with cycles, or an overall sense that my reproductive system isn't functioning optimally.
I often experience breast tenderness, discomfort, or sensitivity that seems more pronounced than typical monthly changes. I may also have concerns or worries about breast health that create anxiety and make me feel unsettled. I would like support in feeling more comfortable and at ease with my body while addressing any physical discomfort I may be experiencing in this area.
I often get excessive hunger and cravings as well as intense mood swings in response to hormonal cycles.

As part of my monthly cycle, I often experience some level of pains that seem uterus-related, or other cycle-related pains, and may experience an uncomfortable, heavy flow.
I often experience hot flashes, night sweats, or irregular periods that suggest hormonal changes related to aging. I also may experience mood swings or emotional sensitivity that feels new for me, sleep disruption that correlates with hot flashes, hormonal related dryness, brain fog or memory changes, joint aches that seem hormone-related, or weight gain that's different from my usual patterns.
I often experience mild but bothersome symptoms before my period such as breast tenderness, mood changes, or bloating that I'd like to manage more naturally. I also may experience food cravings before my period, mild cramping during menstruation, energy dips that correlate with my cycle, skin changes that follow my hormonal patterns, sleep changes around my period, or general discomfort that makes me want to support my cycle more effectively.
I tend to feel very chaotic and tense as a result of my monthly cycle and may experience cramping and excessive food cravings, which make life difficult to manage at those times.
I often experience fatigue, low libido, or decreased interest in intimacy that seems connected to my overall reproductive health and energy. I also may experience feeling less vital or energetic than I used to and feeling disconnected from my feminine energy or a general sense that my reproductive vitality could use support.
I often experience decreased energy, reduced muscle mass, or changes in physical vitality that seem related to aging or hormonal changes. I also may experience reduced motivation or drive, changes in libido or sexual function, difficulty building muscle despite exercise, mood changes including irritability or low mood, sleep pattern changes, potential prostate-related symptoms like changes in urination, or feeling like my overall masculine vitality isn't what it used to be.

I also may experience changes in libido, performance anxiety or stress related to sexual function, potential prostate discomfort or urinary changes, or general concerns about reproductive aging and vitality.

I also may experience getting up multiple times at night to urinate, feeling like my bladder doesn't empty completely, a weak or interrupted urine stream, difficulty starting urination, pelvic discomfort or pressure, lower back pain that seems connected to urinary issues, or general concerns about maintaining prostate health and function.
Immunity, Respiratory & Oral Health
Frequent illness, allergies, breathing, infections, eye/ear issues
I often experience recurring infections or inflammatory responses that seem bacterial in nature, with symptoms like localized areas that feel hot, swollen, or inflamed. I also may experience recurring urinary tract discomfort, chronic sinus issues with thick discharge, skin infections that return, slow-healing wounds or cuts, or a pattern where bacterial-type infections seem to recur more frequently than they should.
I often experience ongoing weakness and immune vulnerability that began after what seemed like a viral illness but my system never fully recovered. I also may experience getting sick more frequently than I used to, illnesses lasting longer than they should, recurring viral symptoms that may express on the skin when stressed, feeling like my immune defenses are compromised, or a sense that viral infections have left my system depleted.
I often experience persistent dry, irritated eyes that greatly affect the quality of my life.
I often experience irritated eyes that aren't necessarily dry and may or may not have a gunky residue.
I have a history of health scares or concerning experiences related to abnormal cellular activity, unusual tissue growth, or unexpected bodily changes. Even though these situations may be resolved, I still carry emotional weight and mental preoccupation about my body's cellular health, and I would like support in feeling more confident and at ease about my body's natural healing abilities.
I frequently experience post-nasal drip with a constant feeling of mucus draining from my sinuses to my throat area or a feeling of thick, mucusy substances somehow building up in my throat area, potentially leading to a strange taste or sensation. I often have excessive mucus and congestion in my sinuses and potentially other areas like my ears or digestive tract. I may also experience tonsil stone formation or at least a persistent feeling of being clogged or constantly dripping with thick, stubborn mucus that seems difficult to clear.
I often experience clogged ears with what feels like a backup of ear wax or other fluid that may be affecting my hearing and seems to build up automatically due to food intolerances or otherwise.
I often experience a high pitched hum or other noise in one or more ears that may come and go and may or may not relate to potential sensitivities to food or chemicals or overall inflammatory reactions.
I often experience digestive bloating, sugar cravings, and brain fog that all seem interconnected and worsen with certain foods that are high in carbohydrates. I also may experience recurring yeast infections, skin or nail fungal issues, symptoms that worsen in damp environments, persistent sinus congestion, or digestive symptoms that improve when avoiding sugar and refined carbohydrates.
I often experience clogged sinuses with lots of mucus, which may be due to food sensitivities or environmental causes, as it doesn't seem related to an infection of any sort. I may also experience excess mucus elsewhere at times such as the chest or digestive tract, which may lead to a congested sounding cough or constipation or digestive issues that seem to be related to mucus.
I am currently experiencing, or have very recently experienced, a dry, unproductive cough along with general body aches and fatigue that may suggest a potential viral infection. I also may experience a scratchy or sore throat, congestion that's more clear than thick, general malaise and feeling unwell, symptoms that developed gradually rather than suddenly, or respiratory symptoms accompanied by body-wide fatigue rather than localized infection feelings.
I am currently experiencing, or have very recently experienced, chest congestion with thick, colored mucus (yellow or green) that I can cough up, along with feeling like I'm fighting off an infection. I also may experience a productive cough that brings up phlegm, sinus congestion with thick discharge, fatigue that accompanies the congestion, or symptoms that came on relatively quickly and feel like an active infection.
I seem to catch every cold, flu, or bug that goes around, and it feels like I'm always fighting off something or just getting over being sick. Even when I try to take care of myself with good food and rest, my immune system feels like it's always playing catch-up and never quite strong enough to keep me healthy when everyone else around me is getting sick.
Every spring and fall, I go through weeks of sneezing, congestion, itchy eyes, and feeling generally miserable from what seems to be seasonal allergies. My nose feels stuffy and runny at the same time, my eyes water and itch, and I feel like I'm in a fog of discomfort that makes it hard to enjoy being outdoors or even concentrate on daily tasks.
I often feel like I can't take a full, deep breath, especially when I'm stressed or anxious. It's like there's a tightness in my chest or throat that makes breathing feel shallow and unsatisfying. Sometimes I catch myself sighing a lot or feeling like I need to consciously remind myself to breathe deeply, which makes me feel even more aware of how restricted my breathing feels.
I often feel like I'm not getting enough oxygen, even when I'm not exerting myself physically. It's like my breathing is fine, but I still feel like I could use more air or that my body isn't making the most of the breaths I'm taking. Sometimes I feel a bit lightheaded or like my brain and muscles aren't getting the full energy they need, and I find myself wanting to take deeper breaths or step outside for fresh air more often than seems normal.
Hormones & Weight
Weight gain, metabolism, thyroid, hormonal changes
I often struggle with losing weight despite my efforts with diet and exercise, and I feel frustrated that my body doesn't seem to respond the way I expect it to. The weight seems stubborn and resistant to change, and I would like support in feeling more balanced and energized while working toward my health goals, regardless of what might be contributing to this challenge.

From Your Herbalist: How to Get the Most From This Strategy
You have your strategy. You have your herbs. But here's something I learned from years of matching herbs to patterns one person at a time, and it surprised me as much as it might surprise you.
The people who get the most dramatic results aren't the ones who take the most herbs or spend the most money. They're the ones who tune in and notice. There's something that happens when you don't just take an herb but actually pay attention to what shifts. And there's a specific practice that amplifies this more than anything else I've found: writing about what you notice each day.
Not an essay. Just a sentence or two. "Slept deeper last night." "Felt a wave of calm around 2pm." "My digestion seemed quieter today." When you know you're going to put your experience into words, your attention sharpens. You stop waiting for something dramatic and start catching the subtle shifts that are already happening. Those subtle shifts, noticed and named and tracked, compound into something that often surprises people with how far they've come in just a couple of weeks.

Important Information — Please Read
Educational use only. Easy Herbalist is an educational tool that matches self-reported observations to herbs based on traditional herbal pattern-matching from Western vitalist, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and other herbal traditions. It does not analyze bloodwork, run diagnostics, or evaluate clinical data. All output — including herb selections, pattern descriptions, tongue and iris observations, and nutritional considerations — is generated for informational and educational purposes only.
This is not medical advice. Nothing in this report constitutes medical advice, clinical recommendation, diagnosis, or treatment. This tool does not diagnose any disease or medical condition. The herbs and supplements mentioned are not presented as treatments or cures for any condition. No practitioner-client relationship is created through the use of this tool.
Consult your healthcare practitioner. Always consult a qualified healthcare practitioner before starting any new herb, supplement, or wellness protocol — especially if you are pregnant, nursing, have existing health conditions, take medications, are scheduled for surgery, or are elderly or considering herbs for a child. Herbs and supplements can have potent physiological effects and may interact with medications or be contraindicated for certain individuals.
Dosages are starting-point suggestions only. Any dosage ranges mentioned in this report reflect conservative starting points based on the developer's personal approach to herbalism. They are not prescriptive. Always follow the directions on any product you purchase and consult your healthcare practitioner for personalized guidance. Individual responses to herbs vary — what works well for one person may not be appropriate for another.
No guarantees. Individual experiences vary. Easy Herbalist cannot guarantee any specific outcome. The tool's output is only as useful as the information provided and the inherent limitations of pattern-matching from self-reported observations and photographs.
Herbal cycling. For optimal herbal support, consider taking periodic breaks from your herbs after about a month of daily use. While some tonic herbs may be suitable for longer periods, many herbs work best when used intermittently. This approach helps maintain effectiveness and allows your body to respond naturally.
